The villa
(map) is situated in the Belomonte-estate, an urbanisation with solely big luxury detached villas. The estate finds itself north of Portimao, in the middle of the beautiful Portuguese nature, only 4 km from the city and 68 km from the International Airport Faro, travelled in around 45 minutes, as 95% is double lane roads. There are no tourist activities; you will live amongst residents and other foreign visitors. Immediately adjoining the estate rolling country side where you can walk/bike without tarmac and traffic. Skyline 2 miles away from the biggest golf course in the Algarve, Golf Morgado do Reguengo, 1000 acres of pure nature of incredible beauty with thousands of olive- and almond trees, lakes, etc. Its sister course, Alamos, of similar astonishing beauty and dimensions, recently opened, so 36 holes of finest golf pleasure. Praia da Rocha (Algarve’s most famous beach) and the new marina are 10´ by car. Stables at walking distance.
Bordering the estate is a large nature reserve and well known stables are approximately 300 m away. The famous 'Praia da Rocha' beach is only ten minutes by car. Other beaches and coves are nearby. Skyline 2 km to the Algarve’s biggest golf course in pure nature! 68 km from Faro international airport, conveniently travelled within 45 min as 90% is double lane roads.
Praia Da Rocha: this is a whopper of a beach. Acres of wide open sand right in front of the promenade. Very popular, but so big that you are sure at all times to have plenty of space to stretch out. Lots of activities in summer season. Easy access to new marina. Praia Do Vau: another good sized beach at the far western end of Praia da Rocha. Easy access and parking. Praia Do Joao De Arens: still further west, this cove is one of several cave-pitched cliffs. Access by road or cliff walk. Praia Do Alvor: this massive beach in front of the village fringes the eastern half of Lagos bay. There are sand dunes but no cliffs. It is a wide open beach, popular by water sportsmen. Praia Da Torralta: eastern continuation of Alvor beach. Praia Dos Tres Irmaos (= 3 brothers): the eastern end of Torralta beach is marked by the rise of the golden cliffs that are so characteristic of much of the western Algarve.
